A FREE And Safe Camp
For Children With Serious Medical Illnesses

Founded in 1996 by actor Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, Camp Boggy Creek was built on a simple yet powerful idea: every child, no matter their illness, deserves to experience the magic of camp. We provide a life-changing experience where children with serious medical conditions can find a deep sense of belonging and empowerment.

Our 232-acre, state-of-the-art facility in Eustis, Florida, is where this transformation happens. Once children pass through our gates, the daily limitations they live with disappear. Here, they can simply focus on having fun and making friendships, all while receiving top-tier medical care. And thanks to our generous supporters, this entire experience is provided free of cost to every camper and their family.

For 30 years, Camp has been a place of empowerment, joy and belonging. We’re incredibly proud to have served over 95,000 campers and families throughout the years. But our mission is far from over. Every day, a new child is diagnosed with a serious illness. While we celebrate the past, we look toward the future.

For the next child diagnosed−the one who needs to find that special place Where They Belong and can just be a kid−Camp Boggy Creek will be here, providing that life-changing experience for many years to come.
