BEST SUMMER EVER!
Craniofacial Awareness Month
Camp Boggy Creek recognizes National Craniofacial Awareness Month. Pediatric craniofacial patients often endure health conditions, which affect the head, face, and neck, and pose significant challenges, including difficulty speaking, eating, and even breathing. These children may also experience social stigmatization, which can lead to isolation and low self-esteem, and due to their condition are unable to attend many social activities including a regular summer camp.
At Camp Boggy Creek, we provide a free, medically safe, and inclusive environment where children with craniofacial conditions can come together to have fun, build friendships, build resilience, and gain confidence.
In just 2 weeks Camp Boggy Creek will host our craniofacial campers. Both our campers and our staff are counting down the days with much excitement! We invite you to be part of this special week and ask for your help!
Your generous gift of $2,500 will sponsor a child to attend a week of summer camp and help us deliver the Best Summer Ever. Your donation will provide a child with everything they need to enjoy all that Camp Boggy Creek has to offer – from activities like swimming, horseback riding, and fishing, to arts and crafts, music, and much more.
More than just a fun getaway, a week at Camp Boggy Creek can be life-changing for a child who is dealing with a serious illness. Our medical team, dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to create an environment that is safe, nurturing, and empowering, giving our campers the chance to build confidence, make new friends, and simply be kids again.
The impact of your generosity will be felt long after the summer is over, as our campers return home with memories and experiences that will stay with them forever.
Please consider making a gift of $2,500 today and help us deliver the Best Summer Ever to a child with craniofacial conditions. Thank you for your support and for joining us in our important mission to provide hope and healing through the joy of camp.
When children with serious medical conditions receive a diagnosis, it can be traumatizing to them and their families. Our job at Camp Boggy Creek is to let them be kids again and create an environment where they are safe, respected, and loved to help wash some of that trauma away. Our intentional programming allows campers to be free. Free to have fun, free to be themselves, free to be the children that they are.
