Asthma/Kidney/Craniofacial Family Weekend Retreat

  • Camp Boggy Creek 30500 Brantley Branch Road Eustis, FL, 32736 United States (map)

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Come to Camp and experience the spirit and magic of Boggy Creek. Parents and guardians can relax and find needed support among other families dealing with similar challenges. Siblings can participate in all of the fun, hosted by our volunteers and staff.

During Family Retreat Weekends, we will offer campers and their families time to connect away from home and participate in some favorite Boggy Creek traditions, including cheering, singing, dancing, trying new things, and sharing kindness. Families will be able to choose their own adventure by visiting activities including boating and fishing, archery, woodshop, miniature golf, and relaxing on the dining hall porch.

Families are paired up with volunteer pals that act as hosts for the fun—greeting families upon arrival, showing them around Camp, hosting families at activity areas, playing with the children, helping the families with any needs that arise, and generally helping families to have the best experience possible.

Let’s get the process started. Next time you are at your child’s specialist, please have them fill out the specific medical diagnosis forms below and return them with a copy of the most recent progress notes via fax to 352-306-0674 or via email to camperrecruiter@campboggycreek.org. Please note: medical records are good for one year. You can find the specific medical form you need here. We currently accept children ages 5-17 for our Weekend Retreats.

Please contact Arlene Castro to inquire about this program, acastro@campboggycreek.org, 352-483-4128
